The OpenEMR manual will be written in wiki and will be version dependent with OpenEMR.
OpenEMR will have “question-symbol” icons that will link to the online OpenEMR wiki manual. Also, a global magic keyboard shortcut can be designed so that all these “question-symbol” icons are making the screen confusing to the viewer.
It requires that the code when updated must include an updated wiki manual referencing the new procedure for the code update.
It allows the OpenEMR operator to learn how to use OpenEMR only on the sections that they need to use. In my experience it was very difficult to figure out how a specific module/task/text box works nor to understand the logic behind.
I don’t know how to do these things. I’m just suggesting that if we can do this then we can design the manual and write it appropriately. I would want to contribute in the documentation for the user manual, however.
