USA General Practice Clinic Needed for OpenEMR Pilot Study

The OpenEMR Foundation is looking for 1-2 USA based General Practice clinics that commonly treat hypertension (or another common disease) with a medication management protocol that would be interested in participating in a pilot study for 18 months. The clinics would be compensated for their time, receive free access to a cutting edge medication management software that should increase patient med adherence, decrease provider time spent on med management, and improve compliance with CMS MIPS QPP reporting. You would also be helping OpenEMR improve its technical capabilities for HIE integration, med management, and ONC EHR compliance.

If you are a GP or you know of an OpenEMR GP that would be interested in participating please let us know ASAP. You can send an email to hello@open-emr.org or private message me. We have a short time window on applying and need to select participating partner clinics in the next 1-2 days. We need the name of the clinic, number of patients seen in a given year for hypertension (or the other common symptom such as diabetes), number of providers, and state the clinic resides in. The clinic would be expected to sign a letter of intent upon receiving more details of the actual grant.

Time requirements are expected to be 1-2 staff who will be trained for 3-5 hours on the tools, quarterly satisfaction / feedback surveys, and time spent enrolling patients in the medication protocol (which should decrease overall provider time spent on medication management).
