Unable to download freeB from sourceforge

As per instructions below :

To start these instructions will assume that you have a working installation of OpenEMR available from the CVS repository at http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=60081. or a tar.gz version from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=60081.

My comments : I have a working version of Openemr in my ubuntu server which I downloaded from CVS

You will need a copy of FreeB 1.0 available by CVS at SourceForge:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/openemr login

My Comments : I do not have a password for this so I hit return
After several minutes, I get a message  ‘cvc [login aborted]: connect to cvs.sourceforge.net(66.35.250.207):2401 failed: connection timed out’
So I could not get to the next command to download

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/openemr co -P freeb

Appreciate any help!

Hi Mani

Do you have the latest CVS version of Openemr 2.8.4 installed on your Ubuntu server?  If you do you don’t need FreeB for your claims anymore because Rod Roark put software in that eleminates the need for FreeB entirely.  There should be a notation to this effect and the one minor change that you have to perform to get it to work in the instructions that you printed out from the wiki for your Ubuntu installation.  If you still want FreeB anyway take a look at the installation instructions that are on the wiki for the Debian install.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I also hurried the process without completing the entire wiki on Ubuntu installation. So I am going back to Ronald Leemhuis MD wiki on Ubuntu install. I just need to go slow.
