Ugrade database 4.1.1 to 4.1.2

Hi,

Uploaded the zip/tar.gz/deb/ubuntu packages for 4.1.2 with patch 3 to sourceforge, which are now being downloaded from open-emr.org (ie. this is essentially a very low key release).

Hi Jack,

Great news and finally closure. Thought I would die of old age before the resolution.

Not too surprised that 4.1.1 (14) failed because of the problem with PHP compatibility. Now that 4.1.2 (3) is functional with both operating systems, do we really care?

Well, El Jefe,

Does this mean that we can look forward to the upgrade of PHP in the 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 Demo’s so that Pimm and I can play in their phpMyAdmin’s?

Hi fsgl,

Essentially, new development demos need to be built on a modern day ubuntu OS (now in a legacy Mandriva install); I predict that at some point over the next year or so, that those development demos will implode. The MU2 stuff is taking precedence over this type of thing, and I’ll likely never get to it; hopefully somebody else will take this on at some point.

Hi Brady,

Noticed that you worked into the wee hours getting (3) done, so we are very grateful.

MU 2 is a huge task and attention rightfully should go there.

Pimm & I will have to hang out over at the other website if and when they get their Demo page back up.

Hi
I just tried to apply patch 3, went smoothly, BUT at the end of it all I note that my version still reads v4.1.2 (1) on the login page, instead of v4.1.2 (3). What gives?

On debian wheezy

Assuming that both steps were done,

  1. Move the patch file to the openemr web directory, then type ‘unzip 4-1-2-Patch-3.zip’, and confirm ok to copy over files.
  2. Open web browser and go to http://your_server_name_or_ip/openemr/sql_patch.php

repeat both steps.

Thanks - got it. Forgot to CD to openemr web directory before executing unzip

Glad it was an easy fix.
