Hello everyone.
Like we\\'ve been discussing before, we\\'ve decided and proceeded to switch from Flash to HTML5 for the graphs of the various parameters a doctor inputs in an encounter\\s LBF forms. We’re using HTML5 and jQuery.
To give you a short description of what we’ve done:
1. We\\'ve modified the file named trend_form.php by changing the show_graph function. We’ve added a line of code (line 128) and we\\'ve loaded the latest jquery in line 47 (version 1.7.2) instead of version 1.3.2.
2. We’ve added the folders css, js and images to ensure that the plugin will work with the vanilla style. To make sure our example will work with the existing files, we use the following files:
From the CSS folder: visualize-light.css, visualize.css, basic.css
From the JS folder: enhance.js, excanvas.js, visualize.jQuery.js, medichart.js
IMPORTANT: We have only done this for the additional examination forms, NOT for the vitals; we just can’t figure out what’s happening in the vitals, although we want to extend this way of doing things to the vitals as well. Feel free to give the demo version of our implementation a go. It’s at http://demo.mediportal.gr (username: doctor, password: demo). Switch from Greek to English, but keep in mind that this is a custom implementation for the Greek market, so there are no English translations for the parameters in the custom forms we’ve added.
You can download the work we’ve done so far on moving from Flash to HTML5 from here:

These modifications are still in BETA form, and we’d greatly appreciate any other input you guys can offer. We want to expand this functionality to the vitals (which work differently) and we also want to add the capability to (a) put the graphs in reports and (b) save the graphs in .png format.
Thanks,
Konstantinos
