Hi
OpenEMR doesnt support ordering of groups. Only the orders mentioned in the Procedure fields will be placed, even if it is a group.

In order to place multiple orders at a time - we need to add multiple procedure fields by clicking “Add Procedure” button in the procedure order form. And then can add multiple orders to place.

If this flow has to be changed as you prefer, we need to do some code customizations.

Thanks

How would you feel about me returning any customized code to the OEMR community? What is the general practice - forgive my naivety.

Ahoy Lams,
Three options for new code:

  1. Least expensive for sponsor - developer retains code for commercial marketing.
  2. Sponsor owns code.
  3. Most praiseworthy - sponsor donates the code back to the project. Code is reviewed and commented. It is most helpful when such coding is done with community input beginning in its rudimentary stages.

Hi Paul,

It is absolutely wonderful that you will become the newest developer. To get started, refer to Repository and New Developer Information.

Brady’s email address is listed in the second webpage. He is always pleased to have additions to the “Band of Brothers”. The more, the merrier.
