Today was a good day. We manned the OEMR OpenEMR Booth with the help of staff from MI-Squared, Williams Medical Technology and Dr Joe Cohen of KiddoEMR. Talked to a lot of excited people about the project and it’s place in the health care community.
Also met with representatives from University of Texas Austin and Houston and learned that they are using OpenEMR heavily in both the undergrad and post Bac. programs for Health Information Tech degrees. They also include OpenEMR when ever the meet with providers in a consulting role when helping them choose an EMR.
Very cool stuff.
