So I have been looking this script over, I have installed it and have been playing around with it, but before I put all my eggs in the basket, I see that many of the tread post are from 2011-2014. I see there are current people using this but is this script coninumining in development? I dont want to get my practice involved in something that is going depriciate soon. Thanks!

OpenEMR is currently downloaded about 1500 times per week.
There are usually more than 20 forum posts per day.
OpenEMR is on the verge of getting Complete MU2 certification over the next month.
The codebase is actively maintained and improved:
It is not even close to being depreciated soon; actually, quite the opposite is happening as the number of users and active developers have been accelerating over the last year.

GREAT! Well then this is where I need to be. I would love to contribute as I can, I can program I am just trying to get a feel for this. Can you tell me since you are with OpenEmr, I see dropdowns for different specialties, is there one for mental health? I oversee several clinics in San Diego California and we are looking for a new EHR we have tested over 30 of the “best ones” out there and this looks better than most of those!!
