Does OpenEMR have a self-service calendar? For example, can a patient schedule his own appointment through a web interface? If it doesn’t, are there plans to work on this?

Currently there is no “patient-portal” feature in OpenEMR. I recall it has been discussed before but nobody has taken on that project. It would likely be a separate system with it’s own set of users but somehow link back into the OpenEMR calendaring database. The current OpenEMR code base could be used as a starting point and would require some heavy customization.
