Retain formatting in form

I work with a group a psychologists.  We cut-and-paste our treatment plans into OpenEMR.  Our current form for our treatment plans is merely a text box.  However, the text loses it formatting when displayed in the “Medical Record, Report” section.  Is there a way to retain its formatting so that when it is printed off later it is more readable?

Usually textboxes won’t retain formatting, but Textarea can retain some formatting.  For achieving better quality in the formatted outputs, you can try free opensource WYSIWYG editors in the OpenEMR.
