Agree. Guarantor is patient, parent, guardian or power of attorney. For the latter two, documents verifying the patient as not being guarantor must become part of the medical record.

In regard to custodial parents… Well i cringe when they enter the practice as i frequently dont get paid. see previous post regarding divorcee and her bill earlier today.
