The developers and maintainers of the OpenEMR community project already have an ongoing modernization project. We are always looking for funding to put engineering resources into not only look and feel improvements but also accessibility and useability.
We recently received a usability study with recommendations from a well qualified university group which gives use bases for the modernization going forward.
