The Procedures module does not offer a 4th order of configuration for components of RBC’s & WBC’s. Most physicians & certainly lab technicians will know which specific tests belong to which group without spelling it out, e.g., Hematocrit is about RBC’s.

Would suggest first order as Hematology, second order as CBC & third order as the individual tests, for example, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, etc. There is also the option of being more explicit, using WBC-Basophiles; but it’s really not necessary.

If for some reason the RBC’s & the WBC’s are ordered separately, then the second order configuration can be for each group rather than CBC.

Ordering procedures is as specific as the LAB will do it’s routine work. Put it in the computer and lots of results come available as results.

If you want to register received results, you have to have added the test in procedures.
