Primary and Secondary Insurance companies are the same

Trying to submit a claim with both the primary and secondary being the same insurance company. I get a regection due to adjudication. get the following error in the log file * Procedure ‘99213’ has no payments or adjustments from previous payer! . * This is being filed for the primary and it wants to send it as a secondary.

Any suggestions, Ideas.

hi Terry, what if you create a placeholder secondary insurance that has the same details but just a different name?

That worked Stephen, but shouldn’t the system know the difference between Primary and Secondary no matter what the name is?
