Prescription Faxing

I am currently running OpenEMR 5.0.0 on a headless Ubuntu 16.04 server and have been trying to get the prescription faxing functionality to work correctly (unsuccessfully). Hylafax is set up and functional on the server (i.e., I can utilize sendfax to send a fax to the destination of my choice). I can view incoming and outgoing hylafaxes in the Miscellaneous > Fax/Scan section after enabling hylafax support in Globals > Miscellaneous. On the other end of things, I can “write” a prescription from the patient page and am presented with the standard Download (PDF), View Printable Version (HTML) and Download (Fax) options, all of which present me with a nicely formatted prescription. What seems to be missing is a single button that directs the server to actually send the fax. Is this supposed to be there somewhere and I’ve just missed it or am I misunderstanding the functionality. My research on the forum (there’s not much info) suggests that hylafax integration doesn’t work out of the box and that some configuration needs to be done. I’m confident that I can do the configuration but I somehow need to get an idea as to whether I’m even on the right track. Maybe someone else who has a functional system can point me in the right direction?

@Mouse55,
Please refer the following link this may help you,

Thank you, but I had previously seen those and remember - my modem works and I know how to use it independently of OpenEMR. I’ll go through the settings one by one once again but I don’t think that’s where my problem lies. It seems from other posts that there is a way to fax prescriptions directly from OpenEMR. That’s what I’m trying to crack here and have so far been unable.

@Mouse55 yes you can sendfax with single button click with fax number and fax documents that you wants to send.
