Phone system integration

Some phone systems allow passing of caller IDs to other systems. Typical scenario we are looking at would be adding some ‘intelligence’ to call routing such as :

  1. Display patient name(s) based on EMR information
  2. Start a workflow if incoming call matches to a single patient
  3. Route call to specific staff member based on expected reason for the call - e.g. if patient has a recent lab order, they are likely to be calling for lab results etc…

Has anyone implemented integration with OpenEMR?
