Patient portal - is there a notification when an appointment is made

When a patient schedules an appointment in the portal, is there an option to receive a notification? I checked the email address that is associated in openemr, but there was no notification there

@harmone75 Currently there are no notifications sent. I may add either a note to Portal Dashboard SM or Messages. For a patient notification for upcoming appt’s , it is setup in OpenEMR.
