I was looking into the clickoptions.txt file. I cannot find  ‘clickoptions1.php’ and ‘clickoptions2.php’ as stated.
I would like to make use of issues. can someone point me in the right direction? I would like to configure it to use in my practice.
thanks

hey,

This seems rather contorted. I am guessing here, but I think you need to do the following. To create a new category, need to add to openemr/library/lists.inc file (ie. insert at line 31 ‘example’ => array(xl(‘Example Issues’) ,xl(‘Example’) ,xl(‘E’),0). Then can put the following in custom/clickoptions.txt : example::Woohooo

Did that work?

We really need to bring this config stuff within OpenEMR at some point. We brought in a bunch of configuration stuff into admin->lists for version 3.1.0 however I couldn’t figure out a way to do this with these issues because each issue has 4 settings/variables and a list associated with it. If you want, feel free to issue a feature request in tracker to “Migrate issues configuration into OpenEMR” so we have reminder when a developer has some free time.

thanks for your reply, I will try your suggestion when I get to the server later. I think what confused me was the commented text in clickoptions.txt. It may be old and need updating.

thanks again, i will post later

You might also want to review my writeup about using the clickoptions.txt and especially about populating it - see the “Fee Sheet Configuration” download PDF from the oemr.org website or try the following

http://www.oemr.org/docs/FeeSheetProcess310screenshots.pdf

It explains how to use the ICD9 codes and descriptions to make it much more easy to use in the “Issues” for encounters.
