How does the appointment reminder work on openemr? I have configured the smtp setting but patient are not getting reminder. Am I missing something? kindly help

Patient reminders is not automatic. Have you gone to Misc > BatchCom?

I spent 20 minutes looking for documentation on how to use it. I could not find anything. You will just have to play around with it to get it to work.

The only thing I know for sure is that it references to the calendar. It searches the calendar for appointments to send notifications to.
