Hi, Tahir,

In my opinion the best and most future-proof way to contribute a robust and lasting integration is with APIs or a SMART on FHIR app. In its current state OpenEMR may not have write APIs for every FHIR structure you could need, but we’re highly motivated to add anything missing and actively working on that. Contributions and reviews along those lines would be beneficial.

OpenEMR also has a module system for direct integrations that can be used when the APIs don’t meet your immediate needs; however, I do think the APIs and FHIR are the better option whenever possible.
