I am doing the year end accounting for Open Source Medical Software (OSMS). OSMS supports the OpenEMR and provides its direction. I need the help of allthe volunteers (both developers and non-developers, amateurs, part-timers, full-timers and professionals alike.
What I need is for you to contact me with the number of hours per week (or per month or per year) where you spend volunteering to answer questions in this forum.
If you have spent time volunteering to answer questions here in the developers forum, help forum or users forum please email with you estimated hours and what your normal professional hourly rate is.
If you develop OpenEMR software and donate it to the project under the GPL licensing I need an estimate of the hours spent and your usual professional billing rate. This counts as a "donation in kind".
I am in the process of writing some grants to support the OpenEMR project and I need these numbers to include in the grant proposals. All information will be kept confidential.
I need these numbers for the calendar years of 2007 and 2008.
