Longer answer: It appears that Walt Pennington, who used to own the openemr.net domain, sold it to another company (“Possibility Forge”) who seems to think it’s to their advantage to confuse the community by using the same name and bumping up the release numbers.
Prior to all this, Walt had moved the OpenEMR project to SourceForge from his own server and basically abandoned it, turning it over to a group of developers including Yours Truly, where it thrives today.
Last I checked, PF was trying to convert it to Java while profiting from the name confusion.
