verbus has inquired for what format to use. Suggest getting access to the wiki and just placing success stories there. Don’t worry about the formatting or anything like that, just focus on the context. Can request a wiki account here: http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Special:RequestAccount
Community can then decide on best methods etc. after a couple have been submitted. My initial thoughts are good to avoid vendor advertising (goal is market OpenEMR, not vendors) and consider using real clinic identifiers (ie. clinic or physician name etc.) if they are ok with being contacted by other physicians/clinic staff on how OpenEMR is working out.
There’s currently one very nice success story, but need many more. After have more, can then make it more prominent and tie it into the OpenEMR Support options page and link to it from the main open-emr.org page. The goal here is to address the common questions:
Is anybody using OpenEMR?
What type of facilities are using OpenEMR?
etc.
Brady,
This is an excellent thing to do , thanks for putting it out there. I think I may have a couple of potential entries, but I think it’s important that we find a way to minimize how much the end-users may get harassed. Maybe send the contact link back to the vendor or support organization to buffer the actual clients from unexpected cold calls?
