Hi guys,

i am trying to install openEMR on fedora using the installation instructions for linux from the wikipage,

i have reached step 4 but i am stuck with no OpenEMR ACL setup that was supposed to be there and allow me to proceed to step 5.

Hi Sou Wei,
Greetings from Visolve…!

Based on the screenshot shared, seems you have the database existing already and your getting the error.
I would recommend to try with a new dbname or delete the existing openemr db. If the db need to be retained, try by selecting the option of using existing database on initializing openemr installation…

Let us know if this works…

Hello ViSolve,

I have deleted the database and the entire openemr and reinstalling from scratch,

the same problem persists, i have compared my screenshot to the instructions shown here
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_4.1_Linux_Installation.

its exactly the same up until including the “Success! Good database “openemr” already exists”,

it doesnt show the last check which should be “Success! First step of access control installation succesful” which is also preventing me from getting to the next step.

any other suggestions?

Hi Sou,
Seems the error is not in database but with ACL… Please share the error logs to assist further on this…

Hi,

Please make sure whether your php version is above 5.4 to install openemr version 4.2
