OpenEMR for a 3rd world international clinic?

Hello I am trying to select an EMR that I can install on a Windows laptop and send to a clinic in a 3rd world country. They only need a single electronic workstation. I saw that the peace Corps uses Open EMR? Would it be a good choice to use Open EMR? Is there a step-by-step guide for installing Open EMR on a Windows machine? How easy would this be to support?
Thanks!
Dave

Hello David

OpenEMR can be best suited for the clinics. It can be easily installed and you can follow the steps given in this link OpenEMR Installation Guide to install in a windows machine.

Don’t forget to include a Back-up routine (USB or Harddisk). Manual of everything is included for the V 4.2 non-development versions. Available online and/or can be downloaded if needed.

One can almost install Sam’s/Brady’s package with eyes closed.
