Hey Everyone,
Strong work on the OpenEMR project. This is a great thing that you have created.  We have recently downloaded and sucessfully installed the OpenEMR project onto our local server and now I am experimenting to see if this will work for our practice. How do we energize one of the sample encounter forms.  We wanted to try some of the encounter forms in the above directory openemr/contribute/forms. How do you activate them so that the templates/form in the contribute/forms dir can be utilized on the screen with the sample forms on the upper right hand side of the screen-- after you select the patient that you want to document an encounter.  i tried copying one of the directories into the interface/forms dir but this did not work. no.joy. my thanks in advance.

Copying the directory is the correct first step; for example:

cp -a /var/www/openemr/contrib/forms/podiatry /var/www/openemr/interface/forms/

After that, log into OpenEMR and go to Administration/Forms and for the desired form do register, install DB and enable.

Dear Al (aka technotool)

Did you want to use the screen name technotool on oemr.org?

Currently technotool is a registered user but is not being used. I changed the password and checked it out. It is working.
