There many forum members from the subcontinent. Their questions generate lively discussions. After downloading OpenEMR, it can be used with or without Internet access.
Offering professional support are three Certified Contributors, one in Kerala and two in Tamil Nadu.
The Demo for “test driving” is available in Indian English from the drop down menu. It is not clear from a quick perusal how that version is different from the North American (Standard) English version.

Using it straight out of the box since 2008. Minimal modification if any required for clinical use. Even the front office loves it. Accounts has some issues, but they are always carping. And of course the patients are delighted that info or documents given years ago are still at my finger tips. When there are problems it generally gets resolved through the forum. Always thought medicine had no political boundaries and that knowledge was for sharing - OpenEMR embodies all that to me. I’m loving it!

It would not be apparent to the original poster or to a new Forum member that the testimonial is from Maharashtra.
