OpenEMR 6.0 Group LDAP

HI, I created a group account in OpenEMR and need to have students be able to login into this group account using AD so only a certain group of people can login using their AD account username & password. Can this be done in OpenEMR and can you point me to instructions on how to do this?

Hi, @sunsetsystems has recently brought in some nice ldap updates, which also have a easy way to test out. It will be in OpenEMR 5.0.3 release (which will go out in a couple months). We have LDAP configured that way now. We need to be able to tie the group account to AD, to Openemr to allow students to login in to this account with their EIU username and password without having to manage user manually in Openemr. We’ll have a lot of students logging in and didn’t want to manually add students to the account.

OpenEMR and Active Directory Integration

Hi Shivm, I just got this working not too long ago. For context my setup is OpenEMR 5.0.1 hosted on Ubuntu 18.04 and I have a Windows Server 2016 Active Directory.
