the box on the lbf to click in to start the nations notes is a very small sliver .this was fine before the upgrade. any Ideas on how to get the box back to the right size. I tried changing to a text box and back to the nationnotes but no change.

I have screen shots but there is no attach file here

thanks

To have 2 NationNotes fit one line, see 1 & 2.

To have a NationNote fill entire line, see 3 & 4.

No obvious rhyme or reason to Label/Data Cols. Just a matter of trial & error.

A bunch of NN’s in the Weekly Demo for experimentation.

Changing to 0,0 in production copy in Windows 7 gives 2 chewing gum boxes, increasing width only 3 fold.

Aesthetically the slit is unpleasant; but functionally it’s not a problem because output is the same, once the form has been saved.

I wonder if Firefox in different operating systems is contributory.

my user with the problem is on a Windows server, I think the demo is linux. The problem with the slit is clicking it to open when nothing has been saved. I made the 0,0 changes and it did improve the look a little but it is still just a small box and not the full box.

The Weekly Demo uses Ubuntu.

For some reason because there is no way to designate a size for a NationNote, it is now defaulting to the smallest possible in Windows.

A workaround is to use a textbox or any data type which has a Size column before the NationNote, see 1. The textbox is merely serving as a mechanism to control size. I tried manipulation via layout_options, but it did not work.

To fill the entire width of the perimeter of the form, it’s somewhere between 125 & 150, see 2.

A real fix would be to add a Size column to the Layout Editor for NationNotes.
