New server set up

I have been using a freebsd 7 server for over 4 years. I want a new installation of freebsd 8.2, then i have to set up all the requirements for openemr.

Before the opnemer install packages came around there were instructions on the oemr website on the specific requirements. I can’t find those anymore. Without those I would not have been able to get my first server going.

I need to know about the apache, pear, perl and php extensions/modules required by openemr.

I do not want to change server OS.

please help

BTW I plan on documenting the process step by step for freebsd, just in case.

Hi,

Check out this wiki page section for dependencies(ubuntu section is from recent 4.1 release):
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_System_Architecture#OpenEMR_Dependencies
(would be nice to have a section there for freebsd also)

Also some information here:
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_4.1_Linux_Installation

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed. I remember there were also XML and PDF extensions. Not sure if I saw them. Anyway I will try the new install and report back. thanks again
