Medications do not populate the in-house section from inventory

I am setting up an OpenEMR system to be the new EMR for my practice.

Using the wiki for reference (https://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Pharmacy_Dispensary_Module):

  • I have enabled the Pharmacy Module
  • I have added a medication with NDC number and QOH of #90

When I go to prescribe it to my fake patient, it is not available from the in-house (select from inventory) drop down menu.

I can search for it, but that does not pull from my inventory.

What setting am I missing? What is the process for me to figure this out?

Thank you for your response. I thought I had followed the directions exactly, but I reviewed the wiki page again.

As it turns out, the template section is what populates the dispensing in-house section when prescribing a medication.

This solves my issue. Thanks again.
