Mass Insurance patients clearance

Hello,
In openemr 5.0.2 and latest version, is there any possible way to clear insurance debt that has been paid to the clinic for a particular month for all the insurance patients without going through the rigour of allocating the payment to each patient one after the other.

@stephenwaite @visolve @mdsupport Please all your expertise is needed on this.

hi @aterad , how do you know which accounts to apply the payments to?

Hi @stephenwaite , Please sorry for the belated response, was very ill.
The list of the patients and insurance can be generated using collections

report module. Please see the attached image
The reason for the question is that, in a clinic where you may attend to over 200 patients per month for a particular insurance company.
At the end of the month claims were filled by the clinic and payment was made for the specific month by the health insurance company.
How can the clinic clear all the debt that will be appearing on the dashboard of each of the patients whose claims had been paid collective or at once, rather than going through the rigour of using the batch payment module and assigning the payment to each of the patient one after the other. This process in the batch payment is very tiring and tedious for high volume of patients.
Thanks for your anticipated response

Hi @aterad , hope you’re feeling well. This would be a new feature but would hopefully only take 3 to 4 hours of development to be able to add a button that would write off the insurance debt for the check boxes selected.

@stephenwaite @aterad we are actually building a compliant low-code tool that lets you solve these types of issues super quickly, maybe even automate the whole credit clearance process

Would really appreciate it if you have the time to join a demo call (Calendly link below) and help us with your feedback!

Cheers
Tarek
