Licensing Questions

Is there a licensing cost for using ICD10 and SnowMed codes retrieved from your program in an open source system? We would like to incorporate these codes into our product for look-ups and display reasons, but don’t wish to purchase a license if it isn’t needed.
The same questions applies for ICD9.
Are both ICD10 and ICD9 supported within your software?
Would we need a license to only use your database (we would rewrite the code)?

We are working within the US, and the customer is a state agency (government related).

Hello there,
   I think all you need to do is register on the NIH site to get Snomed. Don’t think  CMS requires anything but go there and ccheck it out. I just downloaded ICD 9/10 without any fuss when adding data loads to openemr.
