Is there a way to export the calendar so that i could import it into outlook or Google?

Yes there is a way. By simple steps we can make it happen.

  1. Extract the event information from openemr_postcalendar_events table.
  2. Convert the data into an ics format.
  3. Download the .ics file and import it in the google calendar. The OpenEMR appointments will get loaded.

This will work if
(a) you have the skills to do it and
(b) you only need specific appointments added to an external calendar.

What would be more useful is a method to display the OpenEMR calendar via a URL in iCal format with appointment data blocked, only occupied time slots visible in this calendar. This would allow external parties to book appointments with our clinic in their calendaring system.
