Is there a way I can query & send reports to openEMR? I would be interested in integrating this solution into my standalone application. I do not want to go around querying openEMR database. But, some wrappers/integration APIs which can help me to achieve this.
We are working on tools to allow the easy setup and use of Pentaho Business Intelligence ( http://www.pentaho.com ) reporting tools with OpenEMR.
Solea ( http://www.soleasolutions.com/ ) is the prime developer on this with MI2 (project design) and IPPF (funding). It’s going to be incredible. We will release a basic OpenEMR ad hoc reporting server as a installable instance and/or a VM to the community.
yes, very fully. There is no issue with the community addition, it is fully open and very functional, but complicated. The basic report designer client is easy to use, but getting full BI for a production system requires a deep understanding of modern ETL methods and Modrian Cubes … that’s what we are prepackaging …
actually, what I would be interested in it to have kind of webservices and use the services’ APIs to integrate. Is such thing already exists? If yes, how can I use 'em?

There is nothing specifically like that for reporting. Franky it would be
an unnecessary layer, in my opinion.
The MYSQL databases can be accessed using various connectors such as JDBC
and ODBC, but you still need to write SQL code or build in intermediate
model of the data you are interested in reporting.
There is are 3rd party API for interaction with specific records.
