Just can’t get pass step 3 to connect to mySQL. It’s stuck at Configuring …Connect MYSQL Server. I can manually connect to mySQL server loging in as the SQL user I entered in the setup/install screen at the Login name for SQL Server section

Can you please check whether the particular user you have specified has enough access to create the database,etc…

A couple thoughts. The MYSQL SERVER Login Name and Password are the Mysql account credentials used when installing the Lamp Stack. I think default is root/(no password) and the OPENEMR USER User/Password is the login credentials set by setup for your initial login to the OpenEMR application. Usually default is admin/pass. Lastly, why install v4.2.1 and not latest? No problem, but I am curious.
