I just installed the openemr in my Linux server. The installation went through smoothly. when I try to enter a sample name as a new patient I get the following message.

Catchable fatal error: Object of class PersistenceStoreFactory could not be converted to string in /home/mytwirle/public_html/transaction/openemr/src/main/php/com/possibilityforge/php/Object.class.php on line 277

When I clicked Advancced search the page looks like as below:

Raj,

The error you’re getting looks like a problem with your installation of PHP. Also, it seems that you have installed PHP inside the OpenEMR directory. Is that right?

Hey Guys. I have sorted out most of the problems related to SQL issues. Now I am able to get the log in screen and I am able to log in. Once I log in I get a screen where there is no Add a patient button…

I have apache, Php and My Sql installed as well and I have checked all Sql Tables.

Jason, The php is installed in the same server and hosted by siteground. The PHP is not installed inside the openEMR directory. If I can have your email ID I can send you the screen shot. Thank you for your response and I greatly appreciate your kind assistance.

When I logged in I got into the calender module view and on the left side I see the inof as below:

Top    Bot
Patient/Client

None
Active Encounter:

I am not able to find a button to enter a patient information.

Is something missing, can someone help me please.

Thanks

Hi Raj,

Using the left-hand navigation you should be able to create a new patient by clicking on Patient/Client and poking around in there. Is the navigation menu two columns of radio buttons or is it a single column with collapsible branches with ‘plus’ symbols?

Also, you say the site is hosted by SiteGround. There are a good number of issues with running OpenEMR with a third party hosting provider. I wish it weren’t so. The trouble you’re experiencing might be related to something beyond your control at SiteGround.

Good morning Jason. The navigation is two columns of radio buttons. I can see all but starting from calender until auth/notes they are highlighted and clickable. Below auth/notes which starts with patient the letters are seen but hidded and not clickable. I am able to see the calender but I am not able to make any test entries…

SIte ground is so far very co-operative and willing to help.

Is there anythig obvious I am missing or some files are creatig the problem of hidden fields in the navigation menu.

Appreciate your kind help.

Thanks and have a great day
