In Patient demographics, the medication change from "Not Recorded" to "None" on adding and deleting the medications

Hi All,
Just positng the observation came across on checking over with medications.

Under patient demographics, right panel, the medications, allergies and medical problem remain as “Nothing recorded” when no data is posted.

On adding the data and deleting the same, it changes to “None” which should not be the case, as ‘None’ indicates the patient doesn’t have any allergies/problems / medication (intake), until and unless, the user marks as None explicitly.

We suppose on deleting the last entry in these widgets should show as ‘nothing recorded’ rather than ‘none’.

This is observed for Medications, Allergies and Medical problems.

Please let us know your views on this behaviour.

Thanks,

Hi Visolve,

This behavior was done on purpose via following “physician” logic:

  1. If no items are entered in yet, then “nothing is recorded”(ie. it has not been assessed).
  2. If items were entered in (or None is explicitly clicked on in the issues screen) and they are removed, it can be assumed that it is now ‘None’(ie. it has been assessed).
