Improvements to community forum coming

In the coming days/weeks we will be migrating our community to a shiny, new forum system. This has been in development for several months for several reasons, including the instability of Sourceforge.

Soon you will be able to go to community.open-emr.org and continue engaging in the lively community that OpenEMR has become. We’ll be migrating all the SF topics/convos to our new platform so you won’t miss out, plus we’ll be keeping Sourceforge as an archive.

One of the most exciting features in the new forum is simpler sign on. If you have a Github, Google, Twitter, or Facebook account you can signin with those credentials! (Or you can still create an account the old fashioned way)

If you would like “beta” access to the new site, please send me a private message; we’re looking for a few people to tinker with the new site and give any feedback we may have overlooked.

This is just the first in a handful of new and exciting methods of support and community engagement. With our new MU2 status OpenEMR is poised for great things in 2017!
