I am in the process of setting up OpenEMR, and I need to install (among other things) the billing codes - starting with ICD9 codes. Is there a procedure for importing these codes? Also, where do I download the 2009 codes?
Any help would be much appreciated.

In many practices, there will be a set of most commonly used codes relavent to the practice, which you could put them manually into the "superbill" section. After this is done, you could log on as admin, and go to "admin" section, then "list", then you could modify the "fee sheet" from there, that will make the billing job easier.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to find a database with all the codes. I would think there is some sort of pre-built database with all the codes.
