Are there any known negative effects or system function failures caused by removing all the ICD9 code data from an OpenEMR version 5 or greater installation?
A lot of doctors now have already adjusted to ICD10, and question why the obsolete codes are still present in the system.
hi @Penguin8R, it depends on the historical use of the code set. It’s probably safer to deactivate the code set from Admin->Lists->Code Types
