Should have been: HI ABK:R6250
The “A” indicates the code is an ICD-10 code.
Where in Open EMR does this field populate from
Thanks

line 566 : $diag_type_code = ‘BK’; (added A ) to make it $diag_type_code = ‘ABK’;

Actually if you do that and resend an ICD9 coded encounter they will be rejected. The 4.2.0 patch 4 will fix it for you if you will apply it.

Hello
We have implemented an option to print ICD 9 code or ICD 10 code in the cliams based on the Date of Service. i.e. If the date of service is on or after October 1st, even if both the codes included in the feesheet, only ICD 10 will be displayed in the cliam (in both x12 and CMS) and if the date of service is before Oct 1st, it will display only ICD 9 code.
Let us know, if this is useful will provide the patch to the community.
Thanks

Just FYI… you would also have to change the code for the secondary dignosis; from BF to ABF .
