How to create multi patient in a single patient account

Hello All,
An understanding of this scenario is that, a company AAC has an account with a clinic, and wants some of its new staffs to go through medical test before confirmation. I will like to know how to carry out the test for each one of them or how OpenEMR will handle it, without having to registering them as patients separately since they are not the patients of the clinic but about to be staffs of company AAC that is registered as the client of the clinic.

Thanks All

Many ways to go from here! 1. Make them clients, not patients, they should be healthy. With special note that these clients are Staff members of AAC. 2. Register them under AAC insurance/payor. Or make AAC a client and register these cliensts as siblings of AAC. 3. Make AAC they payor for these clients. 4. Think out of the box an find any other solution comparable to real life situation.

These clients are not PATIENTS of the clinic, next question is but what are they after being tested they and/or are seen by a medical person of the clinic. Wouldn’t this make them registered clients for this examinations in this clinic with any formal and legal results to be kept for some years in case of doubt. A report need to be made etc…

Hello Pieter,
Thanks for your response.

a quick one, please how do you register someone as client and not a patient or vice versa in OpenEmr 4.2.2, kind of lost there.

Likewise in your second post, this people who are about to go through medical test are not yet staffs of company AAC but about to be, provided they pass the medical test, so how do we register them in OpenEMR.

Thanks

Actually there is no difference. Only the Payor is different. A client is healthy a patient is sick to some extend.

Just register NEW Client end follow the different steps.
