**[tmccormi](https://sourceforge.net/u/tmccormi/)** wrote on [Wednesday, August 29, 2012](https://sourceforge.net/p/openemr/discussion/202505/thread/637dbf3c/#0058): It means at some point, in a future release of php, that command may stop working altogether.  This is what happened in mysql with the TYPE= -vs- ENGINE=  parameter. for production us, turn off the deprecated code warnings in php.ini to clean up your log. -Tony ---
