Dear Oemr Developers
As advised at oemr.org, allow me to introduce myself as John Williams, oemr development newbie, but involved with various forms of software development and engineering for 25 years. I am a team lead of Sam Bowen’s oemr-cchit development project. I work under the direction Chris Lucena - project manager of said project. Two folks at my company have been assigned to assist on this development effort - Nick M (mostly) and Paul F.
My main responsibility in said project is to develop and test an oemr-hie interface. This interface requres an HL7 API in oemr.
Feel free to send me feedback and advice regarding learing the oemr source code layout - specifically anything I should know or be advised regarding implementing HL7 API source code be in oemr, and suggested wish list for HL7 API services.
