Help in Prescription

Hi,
I am new to OpenEMR and I have it installed in my ubuntu computer. Currently our hospital is using a locally made proprietary software. We like to leave the world of the paid softwares. I went to sourceforge and found this project very interesting. I have a few questions in mind which I encountered during exploration of this system. I will ask one by one as I go on.

How can I write a prescription in OpenEMR listing several medicines in a single prescription? Right now I can only choose one medicine in the Rx form, it looks like I don’t have the option to list several medicines in single prescription form. I hope you can help me here.

best regards,
trojan

Hi,

At present, there is no option to add multiple medicines at a time in openemr. You can customize the prescription screen to your requirements.

There is multi prescription option AND also you can adapt the size of the recipe printout. Don’t ask me where but it did work when I followed the adiveses given somewhere in one of the Forums.

hey,
The current default prescription module supports this. Simply check more than one prescription in the Prescription list in the module, and it will print multiple scripts on the same page.
