I did not appreciate the significance of HCPCS when I could not upload them with the HCPCS.plx installation but now that I realize that I need the codes for the medicare quality thing and eprescribe thing, how do I upload them. At the moment, I have a csv file of the HCPCA codes but cannot upload.
Then How is it use. How will it look on the HCFA printout? Where can i find fee information for them?

Once you have upload the HCPCS codes you will need to check with your local Medicare website to find out the allowable amounts in your locality.
For the e-prescribing codes G8443/G8445/G8446 we assigned $0.01 as the charge.
This code will appear as a CPT code would appear on the CMS-1500. You will also need to justify it to at least one diagnosis code. We have had success sending this to our clearinghouse (ZirMed) without a problem.
As for uploading the codes I believe it is the same method as uploading the CPT codes but am not sure.
