Hi fellow users and developer of OpenEMR , I really like the great work that was done on EYE EXAM form, but I just wish a similar for existed for general practice, to write prescription in our own writing and save them in the patient record and to give them a print of the report if needed. I dont know if this feature already exists in OpenEMR or has to be added. Please look it to it , it would be great help ! Thanks !
When I hand-write prescriptions, I use a scanner to scan the Rx to a PDF and hand the original to the patient. I then upload that Rx.pdf to the medical-records section of the documents portion of the chart. Have you tried doing this … would that meet your needs?
