Glitch/bug Report OpenEMR v4.1.0-dev

I was checking out the demo for 4.1, kicking the tires so to speak.  I came across what would be a big problem for my people.  We have MA’s that take vitals / history’s / Allergies / Medications….  When you click on Allergies or Medications I got “Unauthorized access to ePrescription”  Please tell me that this is just a minor thing that will be fixed.  If my Doc’s or NP’s have to put in allergies and medications (prior meds / not scripts or current) that the MA would normally do they will flip their tops.

*** Additional comment 1 - The same thing happens when you click on Issues on the main patient page.

*** Additional comment 2 - If you create a new encounter/visit you can still enter in an allergy and medication the same way that you used to.

I see where a change was made to the medical problem area - I like the change as right now i get calls telling me that they forgot to change it to problem or allergy or etc. and they get saved under the wrong thing.

It would be great if all of them could be setup that way. (Allergies / Medications / Surgeries / Dental

Are Surgeries and Dental going to be put on the main patient info screen (even if there are none)?  It wouldn’t be a bad thing to have them there and say None just like the others do.  The only places that I could see that they can still be entered in is when you create a new encounter/visit or if you go under issues at the top.

i noticed these today but wasn’t sure where to report them so sorry if a new thread was the wrong thing to do.

Thanks

Eric

Hi,

Looks like a bug in some of the access controls related to the recent addition of the eprescription module. Recommend posting this as a bug on the tracker.

I think that all the issues that show up in the main patient summary do function like Medical Problems.

For the option of having surgries/dental on patient info screen(vice versa beaing able to remove others from the patient summary screen), this would be a nice feature. Currently the groups that show up in the patient summary screen are hard-coded with the script, but it wouldn’t take much to instead add a setting in library/lists.inc . Recommend placing this as a feature request on the tracker.

thanks for testing it out and let us know if need help with the tracker,

I saw your response today and was going to put in a bug report but I thought I would check it out again and now medications and allergies are working with no issues.  I will put the other portion in as a feature request.  I know it is small potatoes compared to all the work by everyone for the certification but at some point it never hurts to have a wish list.

Thanks

Eric
