I have recently installed the OpenEMR set up and created patient portal. I am able to setting up options for the patient portal going through Portal Activities. While I am trying to Check Connection, I am getting following messages. I consider this is issue with the configuration.

  1. Check Offsite UserName And Password Stored In Administration->Globals->Portal
  2. Enable soap extenion in php.ini file
  3. Check Your Domain Name Or IP Address (OpenEMR should host in a static IP Or Dedicated Domain Name. Patient Portal Not Support localhost or internal IP)
  4. Check your site ID(Patient portal registed site folder and openemr site folder should be same.)

Can someone help me on the same.

regads,

Hi,

All the four points mentioned must be configured correctly for the patient portal to work.
Please make sure your ‘Site Path’ in ‘Profiles’ tab points to your openemr site folder.

If the problem persists please let us know.

Yes, I tried the same in the last setup of openEMR and I again did whole new set up and follow the same video tutorial and land up with the above mentioned screen again. I think the tutorial is not mentioning everything like what to do with the site path bellow. What values should be there?

Offsite Patient Portal Site Address
Offsite Patient Portal Site Address (Patient Link)

I double checked username and password of the site portal which were sent to me in mail of portal registration and the SOAP extension is open in my php setup.

Have you tried accessing the patient portal from the server itself?

Hi,

Please give the following details in Administration => Globals => Portal

Offsite Patient Portal Site Address => https://mydocsportal.com/provider.php
Offsite Patient Portal Site Address (Patient Link) => https://mydocsportal.com/

If the problem persists please let us know.
